My name is Erin Sandoval and I am a CA state licensed acupuncturist & herbalist. I have a bachelors degree in Art from the University of California, San Diego, a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. As a provider I specialize in all things reproductive health and I treat everything from hormone imbalances leading to cycle irregularities, fertility support, IVF and IUI support, prenatal care, labor support, postpartum care, and perimenopause support, all with a strong emphasis on emotional health.
Supporting women who are experiencing loss is something that is close to my heart. Loss of a pregnancy does not have a linear path for most women and after my personal experiences with loss I began to tailor my studies and professional development around supporting women through all stages of womanhood. Loss of a pregnancy at any stage is a life altering experience and I believe it is in those moments when women need their community to lean on the most.
I am a doctor, but I am first and foremost a woman. I have cried many rivers of tears, and I have felt the earth give way under my hands and knees as I cry, scream, and beg for the ache to subside - these are the moments we need each other to lean upon, and this is my letter to you, letting you know I am here. We are all story tellers, in one way or another, and I’d be so happy to hear your story and share mine. A wise woman once said..
“Tears are a river that takes you somewhere…Tears lift your boat off the rocks, off dry ground, carrying it downriver to someplace better…The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door.”
